Termite damage in kitchen cupboard

This photo was taken in a radiata pine framed townhouse where termites have eaten masonite between the chipboard of the cupboard, and the white plastic veneer. Damage is noted to the roof void, and damage has occurred in the adjoining townhouses.

With attached townhouses, another issue arises in that your townhouse can be properly protected, but your home can still sustain termite attack from adjoining townhouses that are not so well protected.  © Mark Porter 2000
